Mission Statement

Our mission is to:

  • Identify men who will soon leave prison that while incarcerated have proven to be dedicated followers of Christ.
  • Recruit, train, equip and inspire mentors who will intentionally mentor parolees accepted by The Legion Project.
  • Provide assistance including housing, transportation, and employment to parolee’s accepted by The Legion Project.

The Legion Project is unique in that each parolee accepted by The Legion Project program, repays The Legion Project all funds expended by The Legion Project on behalf of the parolee. This enables The Legion Project to achieve and maintain sustainability.

The Legion Project accepts parolees for residence solely in Amarillo, Texas.
